At Fit Learning Systems, we continue to drive the evolution of eLearning by incorporating artificial intelligence in a practical, useful, and transformative way. Today we take another step forward with our AI Interactive Tasks, a feature that integrates hands-on activities with automatic assessment and intelligent, personalized feedback.

Because learning isn’t just consuming content. Learning is practicing, making mistakes, improving… and trying again.

AI interactive tasks in eLearning: practical activity assessed with automatic feedback

What are AI Interactive Tasks?

This is a new type of learning activity that can be added to any eLearning course. These tasks present learners with a realistic practical case, aligned with the course content, which they must analyze and solve.

Once the learner completes the activity and submits it for correction, our AI-based system:

Automatically evaluates the response.

Determines whether the activity is passed or not.

Provides detailed, well-reasoned feedback.

Explains strengths and areas for improvement.

Reinforces learning with specific recommendations.

It’s not just about saying “correct” or “incorrect”.

It’s about explaining why, supporting the process, and enabling deeper understanding.

Benefits of AI Interactive Tasks

This approach helps turn eLearning into a more practical and measurable experience:

Trains real application, not just theory.

Speeds up improvement with immediate, personalized feedback.

Helps assess judgment and decision-making.

Generates useful evidence for LMS follow-up.

Practical examples

Example 1: Cybersecurity training

Case presented to the learner:

“You receive an email that appears to be from the IT department asking for your credentials for an urgent system update. Analyze the message and explain what you would do and why.”

The learner must identify phishing indicators, justify their decision, and explain the correct protocol.

The AI evaluates:

Whether key indicators were identified.

Whether the right action was proposed.

Whether the reasoning is coherent and complete.

It then generates detailed feedback.

Example 2: Customer service training

Case presented to the learner:

“An upset customer calls to complain about an error on their invoice. Write how you would handle the conversation.”

The AI analyzes:

Tone of voice.

Response structure.

Empathy shown.

The proposed resolution.

The system indicates whether the task is passed and provides recommendations to improve communication, reinforcing key skills such as active listening and solution orientation.

Intelligent feedback in AI interactive tasks within an eLearning course

Available to all SmartMobile customers

All companies and organizations already using SmartMobile as their eLearning platform now have access to this feature. No additional development is required.

From the SmartMobile Back Office, training managers can:

Create new interactive tasks.

Define the difficulty level.

Configure the style (more technical, more narrative, more strategic…).

Set evaluation criteria.

In addition, an integrated intelligent assistant guides creation step by step—helping you formulate the case, define evaluation objectives, and adjust the level of rigor.

Also available in SCORM courses for any platform

We can now also include these AI Interactive Tasks in the custom SCORM courses we develop. This means that even if you don’t use SmartMobile and work with Moodle, Cornerstone, Blackboard, SAP SuccessFactors, or other LMS solutions, you can integrate this functionality directly inside your SCORM course.

No additional configuration is required in your platform.

The AI and the evaluation system run integrated within the content itself.

Intelligent training—regardless of your technology environment.

Training that doesn’t just teach… it evaluates and improves

With this innovation, we address one of the biggest challenges in eLearning:

How do we ensure learners can actually apply what they’ve learned?

AI Interactive Tasks make it possible to:

Assess real competencies.

Simulate professional situations.

Personalize feedback.

Strengthen meaningful learning.

Measure not only knowledge, but judgment and application ability.

If you also want to reinforce learning “in the moment”, you can combine it with contextual support solutions like ADI NEX.
